Best Event Ever
The concept behind Local Republicans is to participate in community service activities and show the community that we as conservatives are here to serve.
What better platform to launch our first test than the Animal Humane Society Annual Walk for Life Fundraiser. We had ten volunteers who walked to raise money for the Humane Society. Yes, raise money for someone other than MN GOP! We raised over $500.00. From animal lovers who happen to be conservative.
We all put on our Local Republican vests. Somehow the white elephant on black fit in with many of the woke participants who often dress in black.
I was absolutely astounded. Not one person harassed us. We had great conversations with purple haired trans people. We met dozens of conservative dog lovers. We advanced the concept that republicans love animals and want to make our community of animal lovers know that we are part of the group.
